Just You For You LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — across our website at justyouforyou.com and our companion app at app.justyouforyou.com.

1. Information We Collect

On our website and store

  • Contact and account details — name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address when you place an order or create an account.
  • Payment information — payment card details are processed directly by our payment provider and are never stored on our servers.
  • Order and transaction history — products purchased, order dates, and related communications.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and interaction patterns collected automatically when you browse our site.
  • Messages — communications you send us via email, Instagram, or Facebook.

On the JU4U App (app.justyouforyou.com)

The JU4U App is a digital companion to your physical self-care kit. When you use it, we collect:

  • Kit activation — the kit code used to unlock your ritual content, the date of activation, and a device identifier stored in a browser cookie. This allows us to remember your access without requiring a login.
  • Ritual progress — which days you have completed and which ritual items you have marked as done. This data is stored so your progress is preserved across sessions and devices.
  • Account information (optional) — if you choose to create an account, we store your email address and link it to your ritual progress. Creating an account is never required to use the app.
  • Usage events — anonymized behavioral events such as which pages you visited, which rituals you opened, and which days you expanded. We use this data to understand how the app is being used and improve the experience.

What we do not collect in the app: We do not record your screen, capture keystrokes, or access your camera or microphone. Session recording is disabled at the code level and cannot be enabled remotely.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To fulfill and ship your orders.
  • To provide and improve the JU4U App experience.
  • To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and service-related communications.
  • To send marketing emails or SMS messages, if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To respond to your messages and support requests.
  • To understand how our website and app are used, so we can improve them.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Services We Use

We work with the following third-party services to operate our business. Each has its own privacy policy, linked below.

Shopify

Our store is hosted on Shopify. Shopify processes your order and payment data on our behalf. Shopify Privacy Policy

Klaviyo

We use Klaviyo to send marketing emails and SMS messages to subscribers. If you opt in, your email address and purchase history are shared with Klaviyo. Klaviyo Privacy Policy

Meta (Instagram and Facebook)

If you message us on Instagram or Facebook, those conversations are processed through Meta's platform. Meta Privacy Policy

PostHog

We use PostHog to collect anonymized usage analytics on our app. PostHog receives behavioral event data (such as page visits and feature interactions) but does not receive your name, email, or payment information. Screen recording is disabled. PostHog Privacy Policy

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

The JU4U App is hosted on AWS infrastructure. Your ritual progress data and optional account information are stored in AWS databases located in the United States. AWS Privacy Policy

Anthropic (Claude)

Our Instagram and Facebook automated assistant is powered by Claude, an AI model by Anthropic. Messages you send to our social accounts may be processed by this AI to generate responses. Conversation history is retained for up to 24 hours and then automatically deleted. Anthropic Privacy Policy

Payment Processors

Payment transactions are processed by third-party providers. We do not store your full card number or CVV on our servers.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you logged in to your account.
  • Remember that your kit has been activated (JU4U App).
  • Analyze site and app usage through anonymized analytics.
  • Support Shopify's commerce and fraud prevention features.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect your ability to use certain features, including kit access in the JU4U App.

5. Data Retention

  • Order and customer data — retained as long as required by applicable law or for the duration of our business relationship.
  • Kit progress data — retained for as long as your kit is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.
  • App account — retained until you request deletion.
  • AI assistant conversations — automatically deleted after 24 hours.
  • Analytics data — anonymized event data retained for up to 12 months for product improvement purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Deletion — ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Opt-out of marketing — unsubscribe from emails or SMS at any time using the link in any message, or by contacting us directly.

Residents of California have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

7. Children's Privacy

Our products and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
